881 sitting way low on 99
I just swapped my lift from my 02 2wd to my 99 4wd and I have a ton of rake and minimal lift on the front. I know the diff and transfer case added weight but its a good 1.5" to 2 inch drop from the last truck. Will adjusting my 5100s up a perch fix my issue? Has anyone else had this problem?

The pics look pretty good. It is recommended to keep it on the lowest perch when using ome springs with bilstein. Raising ome up one notch will give you more height up front but at the expense of more spring preload, more stress on the shock and harsher ride(subjective). Better option would be to throw in some lift spacers up front or get the right ride height springs.

Front looks normal to me - I have 3rd Gen 5100s and 881s in front as well. That combo should only produce a 2 - 2.5" lift, right?

Yours looks great the way it is, IMO.
I know that, to many, their idea of the best suspension setup is dead-even height, front and rear, when the truck is empty.
Personally, I prefer to have a bit of rake when empty, in order to avoid the "dragging butt" look when loaded.

Totally agree, only issue is my front right tire rubs at full turn over bumps. It's got 2 inches of rake as of now. Just curious if its worth going up one notch

Correct, my only issue is the front right tire grabs pretty bad when it flexes so if I can take it an half an inch higher it'd fix it. Its already got 2 inches of rake right now

Wouldn't the spacers add more preload as well? Forgot to mention the front right tire rubs on the pinch weld even after hammering it. That's why I gotta find a way to raise it more

Top mount spacers just raise the height by dropping the whole assembly down. Have to get longer bolts for the top mout. The draw back would be shock bottoming out with out longer bumpstops. Pre load spacers that go on the strut assembly will have the same effect as raising the bottom perch. There are a lot of folks running ome springs on the 2nd perch without any consequences. You can install your springs on the second perch and see how it handles. If you like it keep it if not then go a different route.

if you are looking for a half inch a top plate spacer is the simplest and cheapest option. it is much easier to put on than taking apart your "strut" and changing the clip position, just to find out that its not to your liking and then pulling it all apart again. (ask me how I know). these just sit on top of your strut assembly. Wheelers claims that you do not have to change your studs out to fit these.
3/8" THICK STRUT TOP PLATE SPACER PAIR, FOR 95-Current Tacoma, 9-Current 4RUNNER, 07+ FJ CRUISER. 99-06 TUNDRA (WHE TPS38-B X2 OR WOR TPS38A-B X2)
Of coarse lifting it more may change the ability to align properly. However under 3" lift and any decent shop should be able to get you close.
What would solve both of these issues is going with SPC upper control arms. You can move the tire forward by setting the upper ball joint and having a good alignment shop take care of the rest. Definitely recommend a shop that is familiar with SPC.
With this you get better ride quality, better off road performance and are able to align properly.
Drawback is the SPC uca's are 700.00 ish bucks (I've not checked in a while) good alignment is 150.00 (again have not checked in a while)
spacers are 20 ish bucks.

Those both are good ideas, I could only find one guy running omes and bilsteins on the second perch so I was skeptical. Thanks man

a Toytec 1/4in top plate spacer will give an additional 1/2in of lift and not require longer studs at the shock tower. Great for when you just need a tiny bit more height or are looking to compensate for winch/bumper sag. However any greater and you'll need longer studs which you may or may not find a pain to do.

Moved up one on the perch setting and it cleared the rub and rides perfectly fine.
