Cracked Interior Panel

What are the chances I can buy or source a new one of these trunk panels? Just put a fat crack in it trying to replace my rear body mounts
Before anyone answers: I am aware pick and pulls exist. They are VERY few and far in-between in my area, and 4Runners are almost NEVER at them to begin with. When they do show up they're picked absolutely clean within a day or two.

Just throwing it out there but you could do the zip tie stitch fix.. Here are a couple places to look: eBay, Toyota specific salvage yards near you if there are any, or Facebook market/Craigslist for part outs..

That panel is typically fairly easy to find especially if you're not concerned with cosmetic damage. Just make sure you get the right one if you're driving too far for it. They changed the color of the panels and size of the cubby in 99 and they do not all have the plug in.

As someone who lives in an area with a massive drifting community, in a house about 1/3 of a mile from the track, I can honestly say I never want to see stitches ever again in my lifetime Can't go 10 feet around here without seeing some Japanese shitbox covered in them
Half the point of replacing it is so it looks good

Not very, this is probably my third or fourth time peeling back that panel, just this time the clip didn't want pop out and I guess it had enough. Our panels are starting to get brittle at this age for sure
Regardless I'm starting to realize a pick and pull might be the only option - given the size of the panel it would easily cost $100 just to ship

I feel it on the stitches lol..

I hate taking those panels off for this exact reason.. PO cracked the original one on mine but provided a new one with sale, I kinda lucked out on that one. From what I remember when I replaced mine that seat belt bolt is a bit of a pita..

From experience they are pretty strong as long as you don't manhandle it or throw something with mass at it. I tossed my road bike in the trunk years ago and I blew a hole in the cover lol so they are brittle as they age. As for replacing it, I would look for a 4Runner partout on Facebook Marketplace and snag one from there.

That crack looks clean enough that you could probably do a respectable job of repairing it from the underside, either using glue or plastic welding--speaking from experience...

This is what I'd try first.

I'd do a repair job with plastic epoxy and a few layers of a light fiberglass fabric. You can do it from the backside so the repair isn't visible. I've had to do this on two radio bezels and it held up great, so I think you'll have even better luck with that panel.
