I have the v1 and just had it out in the desert for about 200 miles behind another truck. Dust was no longer a problem in the cabin although I did note restricted air flow from the ac and with it being triple digits I could have used the extra flow. I would be curious to try the v2. Has anyone tried to make an STL of the printed parts? I have a printer and would love to play around with different filter media.

If you ordered a Filter and have not received everything yet, I will gladly issue a refund. I think everyone that ordered more than 1 has received at least 1 filter.

I have 1 of each filter left. Will be working hard to get these produced in the US at a reasonable price as soon as possible.

Stay Tuned.

I have V2 right now but would definitely be interested in a V1 type one. I do notice the restricted airflow and slight whining noise at higher fan speeds which is all the time with how hot it is where I am.

Exciting! These will be USA-made now I suppose?

Do you anticipate any benefits over the former V2 design?

Side note: I've had my own V2 filter in for the better part of a year. It took me a minute to get used to the difference in airflow but now I am happy with it and would not remove it. Having clean, dust-free air with some odor control is super nice.

Printed and Assembled in USA. I need to double check where he is sourcing the filter materials.

I agree the small tradeoff in Airflow is worth it. This design is nearly identical, but does have less overall filter area due to the wider pleat design. I'm hoping to get one myself once this batch is assembled and I will make a new video and report!

Other question: I have never tried to remove mine, but how hard is it to do so? Eventually I'll want to freshen it up. If they are hard to remove this might be a design feature to address.

I was literally just yesterday wondering if anyone had done a mod for a cabin air filter. I bet my ducts and fan are filthy at 270k. Is there anyway to purchase this right now or do I have to wait for the next batch?

They are a little tough to remove, a 90 degree pry tool will aid in removal. I usually just tear mine out like Sasquatch though since they do fit pretty snug.

To get mine out it had to be broken into many pieces. PITA because it fits too well!

At some point the "cone" broke off as it was loose when I pulled out the dusty filter element (a ton of dust was released in the removal process, BTW.) I don't think my attempts at removal broke off the cone, but I can't be certain. Once I had the filter media off, I had to beat on the retaining ring quite a bit to break it for removal. I was glad I had a spare to look at, so i could study how I might remove it.

Man I really hope this thing still exists. Just had snow on my hood the other day and was blowing snow into the truck trying to heat it up.
