Need Muffler and Tail Pipe

I have done some searching and cannot find any consensus as to what most owners would use in their 4Runners. I'm thinking just going back stock. I replaced my stock muffler and tail pipe 3 years ago and now that muffler has got that internal embarrassing rattle.

Any suggestions?

What's your budget?

I've done 2 things in the past - bought a T4R-specfic muffler online and paid a muff shop $100 to weld it in and I bought a whole cat-back "stainless" kit like the Magnaflow Overland setup and bolted it together myself.

Need Muffler and Tail Pipe

I bought the NAPA aluminized cat back years ago and it’s still going strong. I’ve posted a few pictures to prove it.

Honestly, I don’t have a budget. I want long term repair. $600-800.

For $800 you could get a pretty sweet custom exhaust setup, if that's what you are in to.

I'd look into a new OEM muffler and have a good exhaust shop mandrel bend all new piping at that price point. Or an aftermarket muffler if that's what you're after.
