A 3" lift is at the max of the range for stock front (and rear, really) geometry. You lost a lot of droop travel, especially with stock upper a-arms. It isn't "only" at 3"... If you want a 3" lift, a better plan is 1" body lift and 2" suspension lift. More clearance, better geometry, better articulation, same looks.
You'll probably slightly longer front swaybar links, but the tie rods should be fine - the angle they are at needs to match the lower arms, so they will look off at such a high ride height.
Make sure you get an alignment done. If you still have the stock upper a-arm, they won't be able to make it correct, but they can try to get it close.
Oh, and get new OEM lower ball joints on there ASAP if you haven't replaced them recent. And get ready to need new axles (or just boots) too.
