Hard Debate due to Mod Itch
Some of y’all may have seen I’ve been fingering the idea of bumping up to 35s. Kenda Klever 35x10.5r17, new UCAs (I should do these regardless), bump stops, new wheels ($80 FJ steelies), gears, and paying a friend to do the fender tubing.
Or I could maybe just a new bumper(s) which I’ve been wanting for a very long time. But then with the bumper(s), I may want/need to upgrade my coils.
The money part isn’t a huge issue; I’m retired, but I am also planning to buy a new Tacoma soon (and of course I’ll want larger tires on that as well). So, I’m just thinking that money may be better suited just going towards the Taco.
I also am thinking that I don’t want to give up my 16s. They’re from my old ‘96 that died saving my life. That’s a pretty big thing to me as I’ve moved those onto two different vehicles at this point.
So much to think about. What would you decide?
edit: I think I’m getting the mod itch due to the little man complex, lol. The other day I parked next to my buddies ‘97 (I’ve converted about 9 people to the Toyota fam at this point), and mine with a lift and 33s hardly felt bigger than his super stocker.
