1 Question Survey About Your Rig for University Research

I'm doing some work for University research. I am designing aftermarket parts that are only possible to install with a body lift, just curious what percentage of 3rd Gen owners have a body lift installed. The survey link is below, thanks!

Does your 3rd Generation (1996 - 2002) 4Runner Have a Body Lift?

What if you're planning on a body lift in the near future?

Polling only enthusiast sites like this will also skew results towards the body-lift side.

Fair, but based on the description, it seems like enthusiasts are the target market, so polling enthusiasts is a reasonable thing to do.

I would think it's mostly enthusiasts that are looking to get aftermarket parts and accessories rather than just repairing their vehicles enough to keep driving.

I'm not sure I agree with that (too many years installing bolt-ons for motorcycles, esp. the HD crowd). I'd say that the lions shares of those folks weren't enthusiasts, they were simply buying into advertising and/or trying to get to a certain look/sound that they wanted to display at the local bar.

OP did say
Quote:
just curious what percentage of 3rd Gen owners have a body lift installed
, which is why I was pointing out that the results aren't going to be accurate. Numbers, you can Make them say anything you want to by changing the way you collect them. The results of a body-lift poll done on this site will over-reflect the percentage of 3rd gen owners with a body lift (higher number).

Just brings to mind the simple statement my HS statistics teacher told us.... there are 3 kinds of lies in the world, Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics.

So what % are not listed?

Frankly wouldn’t have voted if I’d known the survey doesn’t show the results.
