Getting new Kings and some cash (FedEx disaster)

So back I like the 26th I shipped my rear two king shocks to king to be revalled as they were just way to firm for me; even on the lowest setting.

Knowing that everything was screwed up right now, I did insure them for list price, not what I paid for them... Fast forward to today, it went to the local facility and never left there so FedEx just agreed to pay the claim because they don't have enough people to unpack the trucks...

So anyway, I'll be getting $1200 roughly. With that said now, I'm curious if it's possible to order Kings with custom valving?

Lastly, there is also a very high chance that they will eventually find the shocks months later and so I could end up with a second pair... Woo?

Accutune and Filthy Motorsports both offer custom valving. It'll be at least a 30 week wait so you got some time to do the research. lol

You probably won't get your shocks back if they do find them. Insurance is making you whole by paying out. You don't get to double dip usually, especially if it's Fed Ex insurance that paid the claim...

Normally...yeah...but currently FedEx is severely understaffed currently so a lot of these type of issues are really just a super delay issue. All they can do is just pay the claim and move on. But, for example, at my job we ship about 3,000 to 5,000 packages a month with fedex. In the past 6 months we've had several claims due to packages being "stuck" in which they did pay the claim...but weeks/months later the original package finally gets unstuck and goes on to the customer or back to us depending on where it was going. (new deploy or return)

So normally...yes you are correct...but right now fedex doesn't have enough people to even check everything... lol

BUT!

After starting the claim...fedex suddenly "found" the package supposedly at a station in south GA. Which makes no sense as they normally go from Norcross to Hartsfield Jackson... not down to south georgia... lol.

Anyway, King should have them tomorrow. So... hopefully a flutter stack will solve my woes...

Speaking on the actual re-valve again... I need to figure out some kind of temporary setup for the front so I can send in the front kings to king.
