Identify Steering Rack Bolt Gasket Part Number

Need to replace this broken gasket on my steering rack, but the dealership doesn't have a diagram with it shown and doesn't know the part number. Anybody know what it is?

That’s actually a bushing, and to my knowledge Toyota doesn’t sell them (anymore?). Most people use Energy Suspension or Whiteline steering rack bushing kits.

I think Toyota only sells that bushing as part of the entire steering gear assembly (which also includes assembled inner tie rods)? I don’t remember. I did buy a new OEM steering gear but I used Energy bushings.

Energy Suspension 8.10103G steering rack bushing kit will work.
There maybe other part numbers.
There's some writeups on replacing them.

Highly recommend the Energy Suspension Steering Rack Bushing Kit like others said. Installation is a little tough but well worth it in the end.

What the other guys said. Get some aftermarket polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension.

Here's a video you can use to get the job done. We provide links to the bushings and all the tools we used to complete the job in the video description. Good luck!

Thanks everyone, didn't realize it was a bushing. That kit is a whole lot cheaper than a whole new rack so I'll be ordering that up and using whatever I need a save the rest for another day.

Thanks for the video Tim. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find one of your videos so you saved me the headache!

@jeff88

I think I have a OEM brand new bushing from my rack. I replaced mine with Energy Sus. when I replaced the rack a couple of years ago. I'm in either San Leandro or Dublin if you want it lets hook up.

I appreciate it, I might take you up on that. I need to check if I need to replace any of the other parts in that kit too. Thanks again!
