Tundra Rear shocks on t4r 3rd gen?

Is there a way to get the 00-06 Tundra 5100 rear shock to work on the rear of a 3rd gen 4runner? I have 3" springs in the rear and wanted to see if i can use a set of Tundra 5100s I have.

I believe you can just have to modify the bottom bushing. If you search you should find plenty of threads on it.

You can order the 1999-2006 Tundra rear shock from Wheeler's Off-road with the correct bushing already installed.

That, and you'll want bump stop extensions (or longer bump stops). They will also be softer than you are expecting - leave springs have their own damping, so the shocks tend to be underdamped compared to a coil application.
