3rd gen gearings

How can i find out what gears i have in my sr5 4x4 97 4runner? My friend told me to open my driver door and look at the sticker but still dont know what Im looking at.

Assuming your gears have never been changed, there's a code on the door-jamb sticker on the driver's side door frame. Look for a code near the A/TM section (Axle/Transmission) that says A03A or something similar. A03A would mean you have 4.10 gears. If you have an automatic with no e-locker, that's what it came with stock.
