I have been working on a 3rd gen 4runner for almost a year now and just about every time I ask the internet a question about it I am led to one of Nick's posts here. He left behind a lot of knowledge.

Thanks for sharing! RIP big fish! Condolences and healing prayers for him and the family.

He was a great resource and no one deserves to suffer. Comfort to all that suffered with him, and mourn him.

We were just thinking about him a few days ago. We were in the Ouray area, doing Black Bear Pass, and thought back to the first time we did it when we randomly ran into him at the trailhead and ended up doing the pass and having lunch in Telluride with him and his family.

I am a better forum member thanks in part to BFAD. Giving him pointers on how to begin welding with his Hobart welder was quite enjoyable.
He loved to fish, which means he was good by me.
I think he lost a brother to leukemia before his passing but not 100% sure.
I feel for his wife and daughter, who lost on this Earth a great husband and father.
RIP Nick, and tight lines always.

Man, this is the first I’m hearing about this. I never got the opportunity to meet him but he was by all accounts a good guy and definitely an asset to this community. Sorry to hear of his passing.

No idea what happened to his rig but I hope a friend or family member is getting to enjoy his labor of love. RIP and thank you for all of your contributions to this little community.

It's enjoyed by one of his best friends over here in Tennessee. It's a whole new level seeing all of his fab work in person.
RIP Nick

Just saw this. What a loss, first to his family and loved ones and friends, and also to this forum. The volume and quality of his contributions would make him a Hall of Fame contributor, if we had a HOF. Man knew his stuff. RIP.
