Battery cable ends / connectors / lugs

Hey everybody.

Wondering if there are part numbers (if they exist) or suggested replacements for the battery cable ends / connectors / lugs -- not looking for the whole wiring harness. Specifically looking for the positive ends as mine are extremely corroded and the last owner of my truck looks to have done a lil' damage to 'em...

I am planning on doing the Big 4 + upgrade in the future but I just need a simple solution in the meantime. I have a connector kit but my electrical knowledge is pretty limited so I need some advice on what type / size of connectors I should be using.

On a side note, if anyone has suggestions for painting the battery compartment / platform, this is the only area with much surface rust on my truck. I got some Loctite Extend and some black paint and I assume that will do the trick.

Amazon.com : battery cable ends

There are lots of battery ends out there, just find one that suits your need. You can get a whole crimp-on kit for like $6

Yes take a look @ this post. I have done this 2x times now, so much better than the stock setup.

The positive terminal oem can be bought new yet. I just purchased one a month ago. The negative can not. + 1 for getting them from a pick and pull as well. Most of mine are still good. I don't think I had to replace one yet.

I've got terminals that I currently have these ends attached to -- was just worried about the replacement cable ends being the right size / spec. From what I've seen here it seems like using any decent copper ones (I've bought some from Amazon) will do the trick.

Here's a pic of my current terminals. I clamped the ends (pictured above) onto the (positive) terminal on the left and right side. They are holding for the time being but going to change em out with this set I just got on amazon:

What’s the difference other than the cast copper label?

Did you solder the crimped ends also to stop corrosion?

No difference yet -- I just have the corroded ends attached for now. Still getting 14.3v without a problem. Waiting on the set of copper ends to arrive from amazon.. But yeah my plan is to solder them!
