3rd gen scale model

So in addition to to being deep in fen 3 runners, hot rods and other american hobbies, in now back into scale model cars again. So has anyone seen a 3rd gen runner model? See a few surfs, lcs, hilux and 2nd gens, no gen 3. Let me if my google is broken or I need to commission plastics guy to make this. Anyhow thanks y’all

I would love something as well. I used to do models as a kid/teen. Even if someone knows of a Matchbox 4Runner I'd be all over that.

Lots of 1st gens, trucks, hilux surfs, and a 5th gen: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...unner&_sacat=0

EDIT: looks like someone is 3D printing them? Well it’s not gonna win any beauty contests or be a shelf queen, but I’m super stoked with how my 3D printed “mini-rep” 3rd gen is coming along : 4Runner

3rd gen scale model-img_1043_original-jpg
Tamiya. It is 4wheel drive, kind of like a big Stomper. Mine in imperial jade mica just like my 1:1 scale runner

I like this also, Tamiya makes great products, at least they did back in the day.

I bought the hilux to build. I’ll check the tamiya site again though. I started building like crazy. 3+ builds a month. Taking a break from big vehicles to good wild custom models

It would be cool to have an r/c model of one. Like the r/c Subaru Brat model I had 30-35 years ago.

That tamiya model looks like an rc car. I’m trying to get a surf and merica nize it. The hilux is a snap type, but I’m thinking of making a gun truck out of it(Toyota conflict vehicle). Anyway I think we all could benefit from scale bodies to try ideas out, maybe it’s just me. Some of my biggest todos involve bodywork and paint. To have a few scale models to test would sure help.
