Any running the Gibson Catback Exhaust?

As the title states. Still been toying with the idea of an exhaust. Just don't want anything "ricer" sounding or something with annoying drone that will drive me nuts on long trips...haha.

$450 for stainless steel seems like a good price to me.

I run the ebay northern stainless exhausts. Had one cat back for 2 years now.. They are a grade of stainless that Slightly oxides. I am curious how long they hold together..

i have the gibson stainless, been running it a few years now.
Sounds great for a V6, no drone or anything. Im not one of those guys that bounces off the rev limiter so i cant comment on the ricer sound because it sounds good and deep throughout the rev range its seen.

I’ve had mine on for years, since September 2019. In the salt belt. I mounted with clamps and then a few days later paid a local shop $50 bucks to weld it up. Go to places that are not corporations and get quality work and support local business! Just do it if you know anything about this kind of work.

Purchased it in stainless. Stainless quality is there. Sound is excellent imo. These vehicles are loud at warm up anyway, this seems to let it breathe nicely. I like low tones but also don’t mind some more db if it’s a nice tone, this muffler is right there for me. Mine is around 200k so a new cat I think would make this perfect for me. The cat stinks and interrupts this exhausts nice tone, I’m about over it and getting the money back for it these days is $$$. May get it straight piped to the Gibson muffler in lieu of a cat at all. Temporarily(?)to hear it…..
See how loud it is, if it’s tolerable yolo. Let this girl breathe

Talking

I don't have it. Had my cat stolen a few months back and I installed a straight pipe with a new walker muffler.. surprised at the power gain and negligible sound change without the cat.
I was planning on using a muffler from a new tacoma as I do my own welding, but the walker was cheap and easier.

I don't have it, but I've had many mufflers and had two that I liked the sound of.

The walker quiet flow SS doesn't do well in the north but it actually sounds great and it's very noticeably deeper than the stock muffler without being loud at all. A very nice deep soft tone.

I also had a magnaflow muffler welded on one of mine (don't remember the model number) that had a similar tone but was a bit louder. Really liked both.

also after having my cat stolen, i replaced my exhaust with a JBA catback and it has performed very well for the last 5 years. good deep tone and quality has held up very well to this point.
