LAST WEEKEND
Swapped my suspension components over from my 2WD and put my old suspension setup back on the 2WD (was just sitting in the garage)
With a 1/4" top-hat spacer on the driver side front, and a 15mm trim packer on the driver's rear she now sits at 77" tall (top of roof rack) with 265/75 R16s
FRONT - center hub to fender - full tank of gas, no driver
Driver 23"
Pass 22.75" (23" after rearranging cargo)
REAR - center hub to fender
Driver 24"
Pass 23.75" (24" after rearranging cargo)
THIS WEEKEND
Installed my SPC UCAs - only took 6 hours working mostly alone lol

's video helped a lot, specifically on the removal of the UCA bolts - that was honestly the easiest part. Thanks for that, men!
The most challenging step was pressing the factory UBJ out of the spindle. I did one one the car, big mistake. I removed the second spindle and did the press work on the ground using a loaner ball joint press from the parts store.
The second bugaboo is the lock rings, removing the factory and installing the SPC on the spindle adapter was a PITA without a lock ring plier. I have one now.
I did not get to LCA bushings, and I did not install the 333 Fab cam eliminator kit, so I set the UCA ball joints to "D" per the instructions for now. Next weekend, LCA bushings and new LBJ, then an alignment.
Torque on the UCA top nut is 150 LB FT, so I ordered a new 40-250# torque wrench to keep on the truck, just in case
SUNDAY
I replaced the stock CVs with TO8043ET (TrakMotive) extended/high articulation CV axles. I got er done in 4 hour or so considering all the cleanup I had to do...
The 35mm socket I bought took the factory axle nut off perfectly. The 40mm castle nut (closer to 41mm) on the new axles passed the hole in the axle by a good 1/4"
Rather than stop and go get a series of washers, I just reused the 35mm factory nut, torqued to 174 LB FT and installed the castle cap and new cotter pin
Torquing to 174# was easy with "my assistant" holding down the brake pedal.
I also updated swaybar end links
95 4runner up front with new poly bushings and my stock fronts in the rear with new rubber bushings.
COMFORT UPDATES
I also swapped center dash bezels between my 2WD and 4WD, to retain my antenna switch mod, and swapped steering wheels - I actually miss my thicker self-wrapped steering wheel!
Next weekend, LCA bushings, cam eliminators and an alignment!
