How do you know it has water in gas tank?
Fuel system is sealed, how would the excess moisture get in?
I live in a pretty darn humid area, central texas and visit houston and South Padre for weeks at a time, can't get more humid and I've never had that issue.
I'd check for any set or pending CELs.
Salt air is a different animal than humidity, maybe that is eating away at wiring connections?
