Can Anyone Help Me Identify this Unknown Connector Behind Grille??

Hello all. I was double checking my final work today after the major fuel injector overhaul (shoutout MotorWest Performance for their great fuel injectors!) and while I was distracted/zoned out looking around the hood latch area, I discovered an unplugged connector just dangling around and can't figure out where it goes. Anyone know the purpose of it and where it connects to?? Can't seem to find out where it goes and just curious about it. Thanks.

Maybe a silly comment so forgive me if this is obvious, but do BOTH horns work?

You have 2 horns. That's a horn plug. Are they both plugged in or just one? 2 different frequencies is why we have 2 horns.

I didn't know we have 2 horns... what. Looks like I will need to look again but with my flashlight next time. Thanks all!

Edit: Didn't think it was the horn at first because I thought we only had one.

Horn. I only have one on the 2010. The connector looks the same though. Mine has one green wire running to the connector. Looks the same as what you're looking at.

Could take the opportunity to upgrade them. Not much work but you're already halfway there
I hated how wimpy the 3rd gen horn sounded and replaced them with some off a 4th gen. I believe most automakers use this connector and some even use F150 horns

A cheap junkyard 'OEM upgrade' is a set of 'American horns' off an 01-02 3rd gen, or a 1st gen Sequoia/Tundra. They look like the Piaa's /\ /\ /\ but plug and play where the original palm-buzzer 96-00 horns go.

Shoot. A junkyard upgrade I haven't heard of yet? I'll add this one to my picking wish list. Thanks!

Turns out mine is aftermarket because the 2nd horn is not to be found. Not surprised as this thing had a couple mods done to it from previous owner. Pretty cool that it has upgraded horns

I'd rather stumble across an unexpected Doug Thorley header, but yeah - I get it.

Lol this got me thinking if the LBJ's on my truck are actually original because they are somewhat rust free with 232k and virtually no play to be detected...... gonna replace them anyway with upgraded ARP bolts and OEM BJ's but it would be nice if they were replaced at least once in its journey to 23 years this September.
