After doing some research and comparing prices I basically told my favorite local Toyota dealer I'd have them perform the labor if the price was reasonable and they'd work with me on parts costs. ~ They did NOT recommend replacing any seals unless they were leaking as some other here had mentioned.

Thanks for circling back
Dealer: did they give you a warranty for their work?
How long was that?
Regarding the seals, did you ask them if they would warranty their work and replace the seals for free if and when they started to leak?
It's not a question of IF but when. 20 year old rubber isn't getting any more flexible; only smaller and harder.
