Adapting 99+ pass window sw to pre 99, need schem of the pass sw circuit board, help?

I have the schematics that show all the connector wires going to a undetailed block. I want to know where the relay pins for the passenger side switch and circuit board go to. Does this schematic exist? I have this much figured out.

Those traces look like I will fry them the instant I put all the amps thru them.

Honestly, you really better off to keep the wiring matching the truck chassis then trying to go from 99 to pre 99. Like it's better to put the pre 99 wiring etc into the 99 door. With the pre 99 Power window switch and be done..

Pre 99 truck don't have the multiplex communication bus built into the body harnesses. Is why I am suggesting this.

So your going from 99 to what chassis year?

Going on a 98. Im trying to do this as minimal amount of wiring as possible. Too much wiring and too many new circuits to change over for 99+ wiring. More than likely will end up making some PCBs with a relay for this to operate in a stock pre 99.

Haven't looked into this in any detail but when I replaced a 98's window switch the extra 96-97 switches did not work and I ended up having to get a another switch out of a 98... but as stated I never confirmed that 98 has a 98 specific switch or not.

Seems like you took some stuff apart you shouldn't have.

You possibly could have just used the signals from the '98 to drive parts of the '99+ switch system. Just the manual up and manual down signals and left the 'auto' signal disconnected.

I think some pictures of the differences in the door cards would be helpful too. It has been years since I was pulling apart my '97 donor truck...

Ok. Maybe I missed it. Where is the original 98 door wiring harness? As that's the quickiest easiest way to fix this. You just put it in the door with its switch etc. Plug in and your done..

Very interesting. As i put 1997 limited doors on a 1998 sr5 complete and just plugged them in and everything worked. No issues at all..

He's trying to use the newer switches because he swapped a sport interior into his vehicle. Not his first thread trying to figure out how to make it all work.

Ah. Well some folks are glutton for punishment. I think the wiring is too different to even try make this work. I haven't had to pull my 01 sport switches out to see the differences.

Some things aren't worth it. Plus some things simply aren't compatible.

Always best to do research before doing this to make sure they are Thanks for clarification on this one as I was scratching my head.
