Whining/whirring noise after getting rear axle seal and bearings replaced.

I need a sanity check. I got my rear axle seal, bearings, and rear brakes replaced yesterday. All OEM parts. Today, I am now noticing a whirring/whining noise from the 4runner. The whining is most apparent from ~30-45 mph, and ~60-70+ mph. It is very noticeable when coasting/decelerating under 15 mph and when doing low speed turns. At high speeds, the noise increases when I press on the accelerator (adding another ~1000 rpm on the highway). That being said, the noise does not go way whether in gear or in neutral, or when brakes are applied. Can't tell exactly where the noise is coming from sitting in the drivers seat. It also seems to be getting worse as I drive it (I am using another car for now).
Safe to say that a bad bearing was installed yesterday or some other error? I plan on taking it back into the shop on Monday. I am afraid to check if the diff fluid was filled back up.

Any tips on how to deal with a shop that might have screwed up?

Thanks guys. I get paranoid about any noise.

You might have bad pinion bearings and maybe the carrier bearings also, if the noise is coming from the rear of vehicle.

This is the first and easiest thing to check. I'd want to know this before I take it back.
