Heavy Duty Rear Axle Seals

Wondering if anyone knows of an alternative to OEM rear axle seals that might be beefier.

Thanks,

Yup!! But looks like those are for non-abs rear axles. any idea if they have ones suitable for abs axles? took a quick look didn't really see anything. will give them a call tomorrow. THANK YOU!

If your oem ones keep leaking something else is wrong like plugged breather and or really warn axle bearings.

Did you verify the new seal is riding on the retainer at the right spot? Oem seals should not fail that regularly there has to be something else wrong and I doubt heavy duty seals will fix your issue

Could also be a bent axle housing or axle shaft, scarred axle housing, scarred axle retainer, or misaligned seal. I had to do my rear axle seal a couple times on one side before i figured out the housing was scratched. I installed the axle seal with a coating of gear oil rtv on the outside circumference of the seal and put rtv where the retainer and axle shaft meet.

Did you use sealer under the retainer rings?

If you can wiggle the abs sensor out and look on thr abs gear for gear grease. If it's wet in there. Your seal is definitely leaking
