Stuck in park, no brake lights

My 2000 4runner is stuck in park and has no brake lights. I checked the fuses and all are good. I pulled the brake switch and tested both sets of poles for continuity in both positions - all's good. I then check voltage to the brake switch - nothing. I don't have a wiring diagram. Is there a relay or something upstream from the brake switch that could be the issue?

How did you check your fuses? If you didn't use a test light to test them I would buy one just to verify. I've seen fuses that looked good visually but failed when I had a test lamp.

Don't drive it like this (with no brake lights), but you can use the override button on the shifter (open little cover in front of where the shifter moves).

Check the fuse labeled stop inside the cab fuse panel with a MM.

I visually checked all the fuses twice and all appeared to be good. It was suggested that I check the fuses with a meter to verify they were in fact good. That did the trick. I’ve never had a fuse go bad that wasn’t blown. A good lesson. Next time I check a fuse I’ll do it with a meter instead of spending hours chasing ghosts. Thanks for the help.
