Clutch torsion spring installation

Anyone managed to reinstall the clutch spring without removing the pedal assembly. I was replacing the bushings and thought I'd be clever and just pop the spring out with a pry bar but now I can't get it back in.

Nevermind. Gave up and just pulled the whole assembly out. Haha.

You saved yourself a headache proably by doing that even though it involves all that stuff under the hood. I tried for 40 minutes to get that last leg back in it's pivot with channel locks and vicegrips in that cramped footwell only to look down at the footwell and realize somewhere along the way I broke the brand new P bushing lol. Figured I would post this in a couple of threads to help someone else avoid this headache lol. I'm going to do the linear spring mod now....
