I'm replacing the AC compressor, what else is good practice to replace with it?
I'm replacing the dryer, expansion valve, compressor, all the rubber seals
Is there anything else that is recommended to be replaced along with those items?

That covers it (as far as I know from a DIY perspective).
IF you're replacing due to failure, you may want to run some line cleaner though each section. I think they're called "flush kits" and are a pressurized gas that cleans out any physical contaminates (metal that could destroy the new compressor). I only just learned about this while researching getting one of my vehicles AC back up and running.

Pull a vacuum on the system to remove moisture and contamination if you feel like it.

There's a write-up on here that lists all of the parts in the process required, it is rather extensive if you want to do it to factory new condition.

Pulling a vacuum is required anytime you charge an ac system after opening it or recovering the refrigerant

I know luckers. The if you feel like it was a little sarcastic. I just installed a new HVAC system in my mom's house saved her about five grand. I'm aware. I appreciate you keeping an eye on me though 😘

The “if you feel like it” implies that pulling a vacuum is optional when it’s actually a requirement. I’m clarifying that for anyone that comes across this later.

I think you need to remove the evaporator to change the expansion valve, its not fun to get out from under the dash and usually a culprit for a leak so you may consider replacing it as part of the job since your doing the expansion valve. There is a list somewhere in the FSM that tells you the amount of PAG oil needed to add for each component that is removed

I believe
@ JerkyDrewster
replaced his entire AC in his 99 before he rolled it. I don't have the energy or search skills to find the post but he listed all the part numbers, some of which were available on Amazon at the time

I think you might have me confused with someone else! I think the most I did to my AC system was a standard recharge. My wife's old Civic had 3 compressors replaced in 2 years though...

I think you are thinking of bamadrewski's ac write up DIY Complete AC Replacement on 2000 T4R Limited
Your attachment doesn't work by the way.
