Oil leak Opinions needed

Hello 4runner friends...

It's been a week since I did the valve cover job. I cleaned the underside and wanted to know if I had any additional leaks (and also wanted to see if I messed up the valve job!). I couple people gave me opinions that I have an oil cooler leak and/or a Main gasket leak.

I added some of the UV dye into the oil and drove it around. Pictured below is what I have found so far. Everything else looks clean. This is the front passenger side of the oil pan. There is oil on that wiring and on the oil pan around the seals. I also see it above the seals so it's probably not coming from the oil pan.

Does anyone know what is above that area that may be leaking oil?

The green look is from the Dye.

When you did the valve pan gaskets. Did you redo the moons and change your cam seals? Change the main engine. See if your dipstick o ring?

Kinda looking like that oil is coming from the front of the engine. I doubt it's the oil pump as they are not known to leak on these engines.

Is the oil pan seal dry and not leaking?

That's kinda the unfortunate thing about the valve cover leak, it makes it damn near impossible to find any other leak as it all runs down the engine. Do yourself a favor and spray a bunch of degreaser like Purple Power everywhere, let it sit and give it a rinse. Should make tracking the leak much easier
For what it's worth I just replaced my valve cover gaskets a few months ago and the leak is still persisting (why is beyond me), so it is entirely possible it's coming from the same spot. Next time I'm gonna double up the gaskets with some Permatex on the sealing surfaces and the bolts, and if you find out it's your heads leaking I recommend doing the same in the future

You had leaks after redoing the valve pan gaskets? Did you replace everything your supposed to? You have a major scratch in the aluminum? Hmm.. major bummer.

Did you also replace the cam seals?

Yes I replaced the cam seals, halfmoons, PCV gasket, and spark plug gaskets.

I am still on the hunt.
