It's maybe 2 hours tops and that's going slow. It's only one piece to remove, the pan, and about 16 bolts and the drain plug. I get why Toyota put so many on the pan but it seems like an eternity to me when I'm taking them off!
Burnt fluid is a bad sign though. Your fluid might have lost its lubricating properties and the transmission ate itself up.
