Where in Colorado are you located?
It's not common for oil pumps on the 3.4 to leak. How was your leak diagnosed? I wouldn't suspect the oil pump unless there were other symptoms (like low oil pressure). It could be the front crank seal or the oil pan gasket coming from that some location. Crank seal is easier to swap, but the oil pan gasket means dropping the front diff - which you'd have to do to get to the oil pump as well.
If it's not loosing a tremendous amount of oil, regardless of where the leak is, you can always continue to drive the truck and just be sure to keep an eye on the oil level. Some folks even consider minor oil leaks just to be built-in rust proofing.
