Any "magic" detailers will all have to be reapplied with some regularity. Heat gun takes some skill, but will last years (though should still have protectant applied with some regularity).
I did adhesion promotor then SEM Trim Black (fender flares and windshield cowl). Looks good, but then you are stuck with painted plastic pieces from then on.
No perfect solution, sadly.
