A/C Compressor Plug Pulled Off!

Alright guys, I've got a 99 4runner that I'm having to replace the compressor on. After fighting with this thing off and on for a week trying to get one bolt out, I finally got it out. But while trying to get the wire unplugged, the plug on the truck side pulled off the wire. Please tell me I haven't just screwed myself and this can be fixed without a whole other wiring harness. Thanks for all yall's help.

Just splice it solder it and heat shrink it back together. No biggie...

/\ /\ /\ /\ Exactly. Minor issue.

To get nit picky, apparently crimped connectors are better for automotive uses. Soldering introduces a point where the flexible wire hits the inflexible solder joint, and over time this will fatigue and break. Crimped connectors don't do that (as much).

How much wire and connector you want? I have an chopped up engine harness that I believe still has the ac wire and connector on it. If you want me to cut it off and mail it to you...

I’ll take as much as you want to cut. The plug end just pulled off the wire. I’m going to have another pigtail off another harness. I’ll be happy to pay you for it. It’s hot in south Alabama.

You send me a photo of what you want.. :-) As i have Both sides.. ( I have a seized compressor etc as well)

I believe the connector is the same accross the entire generation. ( my engine harness is off an 1998 and the compressor is off a 1997.

So a good photo will verify i have want you need.

Engine harness side or the compressor Side? Does your connector look like this?
