Glad you got it back but sucks what they did. Long shot but You should still call your insurance. if you have not filed a claim in a while they might help you out. Because it was stolen frome the house. Home owners insurance might cover some of it. What kind of rack? If I see one on Craigslist or FB market place. I'll get the f**kers info and let you know.

It is/was a tepui kukenam 3 ruggedized orange. Had the newer Thule/branded cover on it.

VERY glad you got your rig back. Hopefully this will be a major comeback for you and the truck. Also fingers crossed for no structural damage. Hopefully it's just a new fender and headlight. And the rack and bumper stuff of course. So glad you got this thing back though.

Check the frame for damage at the bumper connection. I would be interested to see photos of that. Below is what mine looked like. The crumple zone saved most of the frame but the wheel took a lot of the impact which was transferred to the frame and it buckled a bit. A frame shop straightened it back out. But it will never be 100% again; my driver side wheel is permanently pushed back 3/4". But the damage to yours looks less; hopefully any bending to the front parts of the frame can be easily bent back.

Thank you for the offer. I have a donor vehicle I bought from a friend. He hd a nasty head-on and the insurance company totaled it. My transmission had just crapped out, so I scooped it up. It has everything I would need, more or less.

I am feeling pretty mixed at the moment. I don't want to make any decisions until I feel a little clearer, but I may just package the two rigs and sell.

Thieves aren't necessarily bright and logical.

I'm gonna park my runner closest to the house now, near lights and alert cameras.

I've had 4 folks randomly knock on door over last 18 months asking, "How much for the 4runner?", makes me feel uneasy after this...

Really glad to see you have the truck back. Did they try to shove a chain saw into the ignition slot?

Hopefully life catches up with those low-life pieces of shyte. I highly doubt the police will give this another minute of their time.

Glad you got it back in mostly one piece! Mine was in similar condition when I got it back, but not as bad of a front end hit.

I know you mentioned you don't have space, but when I got mine back I parked it for a good 4 months before I touched it. I thought about selling it at first, but once I started fixing it 4 months later my enthusiasm for it was reignited and am very happy I kept it. Don't do anything rash

I’d just go to the pick and pull and get some pieces to fix that ignition area and just drive it like that while you gather parts to fix the rest of it since you don’t have space to store it. I’ve driven around vehicles with worse body damage than that

For owners of anything nice this is our worst nightmare, good idea to watch sale sites like cl for the tent. Good idea also to chill for a bit before any major decision on it. I feel for you. Damn......just Damn.
