driver window switch blinking

yesterday I noticed my drivers window auto switch is blinking. I searched the forums and only found answers for 4th and 5th gen.

do i have a bulb or switch going out...?

now mind you, this may have been going on for some time. we have now shifted from 24 hours of summer daylight, to winter, and soon 24 hours of winter darkness. so I have only been driving to and from work wiht headlights for the past 2 or 3 weeks

There's a bulb in only the driver front window switch. Not sure why Toyota decided to only illuminate that one. I'm not sure if the bulb is accessible or even serviceable either.

You can get to it by disassembling the switch panel, although that's where my knowledge on it ends.

Hopefully it's just a traditional led that can be de-soldered and replaced
