Tim, It'd be interesting to know if the 85w-140 leads to lower mileage and/or slower acceleration once you switch. I once put Mobil 1 75W-140 in the rear diff on a 4 cyl 4WD Toyota truck, and I could easily tell that acceleration was slowed down a bit.
Also, how long will your change interval be on the rear diff?
