Should I also spray electric cleaner on the connection to the alternator?

Also the title of thread should be *Denso. Not density, damn auto correct

Its definitely worth removing the battery before you try to remove the alternator.

It’s mostly road grime. I have a pliers with an angled jaw and I use it to compress the lock tab and pull it out of the back of the Alt.

Well I got it installed. Took about 2.5hrs but that’s for a few reasons. I took my time and watched the videos, but the hardest part was finding bolts to use to get that bushing out so the new alternator could go in. Hardware store is a good drive from me. Also dropped flex wrenches, sockets and other things lol. So it took a while but glad I learned how to do it. Thanks again gentlemen it’s much appreciated.

However, my battery light is still on. Any thoughts? Maybe fuses? I just changed my days lights to the led bulbs. It has a new starters and battery cables done by a mechanic.

If you put a LED in the Battery light, put the old bulb back in.

What is your voltage running?
