I don’t know where these rubber o rings go. Ideas? Thanks Dave

Wouldn't those be the valve oil seals? One for each valve?

There is 12 O rings in one bag and 13 in the other. I give the valve stem seals the the machine shop unless they have more than one per valve’s.

It's very likely they used the o-rings they already had. I overhaul cylinder heads and often times we use what we have in stock or whatevers local, however that's almost always because of a time crunch where we can't wait 3-6 weeks for a parts kit... it would be weird NOT to use what was provided. Still, at any rate if they were for valve stems you would've seriously noticed by now - if the engine could even stay running with such excessive oil
Just run back over there real quick and ask if they're sure those are extras, they'll remember you
