PO172 code after Cylinder Head replacement

I had a cracked cylinder head fixed and replaced the water pump, timing belt, fuel injectors (rebuilt). Also a few months ago I replaced the spark plugs and wires. I now have a PO172 code with System too rich bank 1. I cleaned the MAF and no help on the code. I understand one of the rebuilt injectors could be leaking fuel. How do you test for the bad one? Thanks Dave

The best way to test is using a multimeter to measure resistance at each injector. We have high impedance injectors so if one is significantly lower than the rest that's your leaky injector.

Drive it a while and look at each spark plug. The one with the darkest signature is the cylinder running rich.

Had a po 171, I found the throttle body gasket in upside down, did you pull that off?

Why did you replace the Injectors?

I did not remove the throttle body. I replaced the injectors because the had 250,000 miles on them and I had the engine stripped down. Dave

The Bank 1 refers to the O2 Sensor. That's what's reporting the too lean problem. Single side exhaust system, so only 1 "Bank". Hope this helps clear up the confusion.

It would be nice if Toyota had split the fuel management into two banks. But they did not.

Where did you get the injectors from? If you still have your old injectors I would put those back in and see what your fuel trims are.
