Yes the Test/Diagnostic port under the hood. I just don't remember which is ground. You'll hear it run if it works. Like I said though, don't strand yourself and make sure you have replacement fuses. E2 used to be the ground on old Toyotas but I didn't see one labelled as such last I checked. You'll ground it by running a paper clip or small section of wire from +B to the ground wire on the diagnostic port. I suppose you could try just connecting it to the ground right there on the side of the intake and see if that does it.
Once you have the correct ground turn the key to "On" but don't start the engine. You should hear the pump run if it works.
