Fuel Injectors O-Ring grease help.

I purchased MotorWest rebuilt Fuel Injectors and need grease ideas for the O-Rings. The Toyota parts man told me to use white Lithium grease.

If you ordered through motor west they should have included a small plastic sleeve of "superlube"

Look through the contents of the package thoroughly.

Superlube is good stuff but if none is provided, Vaseline or chapstick works good

I think motor oil is what the FSM says to use. That's what I always use as well.

But grease should do the job too!

+1 for motor oil, but I've also heard of people using straight gasoline, too. Not sure why?

x3 on motor oil..I've rebuilt/swapped numerous injectors in my day(not for Toyotas) and that's all I ever use. Only need a drop.

FSM calls for spindle oil or gas. I used gas on mine when I swapped them out, no leaks.

The Toyota factory service manual recommends using gasoline as the lubricant for the o-rings.

I think silicone grease is the way to go, since that's what MotorWest Performance sends with their injectors and they're experts in the field of injectors.

Very well. At least I didn't add something misleading, so that's good. If I ever need to do an injector job, I'll be sure to keep this in mind. 322K strong and counting!

Motorwest includes a couple extra o-rings also, along with the lube as others have mentioned. You'll be set.
