Looking for a good Toyota mechanic in or near the Chicagoland area

Hello,

Im looking for a good Toyota mechanic in the Chicagoland area with a garage. I know how to work on my truck, but I don't have a garage and there are some things that I want to get fixed on the engine prior to spring. Things like timing belt, harmonic balancer, VCG, installing new belts, etc.. I can also help do the work and will travel to neighboring city if need be..

1999 Toyota 4runner

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had my truck by him and he wouldn't work on it because of the small rust hole that I have on the frame rail near the muffler, which will be fixed soon. He could of did most if not all of the work without lifting the vehicle, if that's what he was afraid of.. It seems that he only wants to work on vehicles that benefit his YouTube channel. I brought my truck in for compression test and timing belt replacement. My truck is very clean other than the small rust hole. I was quite disappointed. Any other recommendations?

He did a frame patch on my '03 4Runner, but is a general automotive shop, has a Tundra himself.

If you don't mind me asking, How much did he charge for your frame patch? How large was the section?

$1000, two patches relatively small, but finding someone willing to it is the problem.

I am too far away. Nobody wants to patch frames anymore.
