I got the plate version (kinda wish I got the hybrid tube) welded (they offer an unwelded kit), powder coated, and shipped for about $1100. The f'ing thing took all of 26 weeks to arrive! Prices seem to have gone up by 30% in some cases, so YMMV. At least I can bonk something and not worry about major damage.

I must say I feel very fortunate and lucky. I ordered my rear bumper in March of last year and it took them 6 months to deliver it but I got it. They even had to remake the bumper at one point because they said their computer crashed and lost my options that I added.
I mentioned on the phone that business must be doing good due to the long wait, the guy responded that they were having trouble getting the raw materials to build the bumpers. I don't see how though, I can go right down the road from where I live in Indiana and get raw steel of any thickness and size.
It sucks. Their products were top notch with a pricetag to match...I really really hope everyone that has money deposited gets their money back.

Addicted Off Road's front bumper has always been my second favorite but what leads me away from them is I don't like how the space under the grill is just left wide open. Yes, it leaves room for a winch but that much space of the radiator/ac space just left wide open sucks to me.
Shrockworks really had the best "finished" looking product to me.

4xInnovations makes a really solid front bumper, I've been very pleased with mine. Plus, they're on here if you ever need to chat with them

+1 on the 4XI bumpers. We got them on both ends of our 2 3rd gens. Very well built and solid.
Freshly installed, before I got the winch in it:
PS: And built to accommodate a 1" body lift as well.

Yes and probably owes everyone. So it's a really bad situation. No easy solution to this one.

@ traxman25
and 4xInnovations rule. I studied up on rear bumpers for years before finally buying one of his and I have no regrets 2.5 years later. Great prices, easy to work with and awesome communication. +1 more for the company and their products!

Yes, he might even owe more than $200k on the CNC press brake that he just sold.
As brillo_76 said, the owner probably owes money everywhere.

Not sure how I missed this thread so just joining. I paid $1500+ to order a front bumper for my 4runner, but the payment was in August '22 so my credit union told me they couldn't do anything, so I'm out the money.

This reminds me of the Pelfry chit a while back don't recall final outcome completely.
Maybe just maybe someone will jump in for the designs and build them.
A blanket party like Pvt Pyle got in Full Metal Jacket is fitting outcome.
Would be just another night in Houston no biggie. I know people there. Ha.

To me, they were never really a great company. I bought their rear bumper 4 years ago. Took my money instantly, which should never be the case, but OK, I guess I can accept that. Took 4 months to get it...OK, I guess that is acceptable. 4 months later, received it. Missing some hardware, WAY too much other hardware not needed, all thrown in a bag for you to figure out. Instructions were written by a 3rd grader. Email / phone support - if you're lucky.
Hence why I bought NOTHING else from them and that was FOUR years ago. I knew they would end up being out of business if they stayed the course. Hate to say it, no surprise here.

I was lucky enough to score a set of Savage Skids from a buddy of mine that was parting out a truck. But I started hunting something similar right away, because I am hard on things like Skid Plates.
I found DOC Offroad out of California building a skid that is a near match to the Savage Design, with a few tweaks that make a slightly stronger in my opinion. When I mangle these Savage Skids, I will be replacing them with some Doc Offroad Skids. I have looked at almost every other skid on the market, and nothing comes close to the protection of the Savage or DOC Skids.
