Thanks I appreciate the kind words. I did miss it around here. Like others said I might be back one day.

You know, 13 years is a good run. That's a long time to hang onto a vehicle. I've had mine for almost 10 years and I hope to have it for another 10. Only time will tell, but I hope that the Taco build comes out nicely. I'm sure the new owner of the 3rd gen will have a nice platform to begin their work on.

Happy trails and have fun with the Taco!
I guess I've had my '99 for 12 years now, bought it in 2010.
I've owned my '63 Volvo PV544 for 25 1/2 years now, I don't think I'll ever get rid of that thing.

Awesome post. I bought my '01 new, so it's coming up on 22 years of incredibly reliable service. I need to tear into it soon for its 3rd timing belt job at 520,00 miles.

Nice tribute- and great adventures. I know that sad feeling of letting go of a vehichle that served well. My first at 15yo was a straight six '73 Chevy Nova. Brought me across country at 20yo and lived in it for 4mos. Served for many years after. 1980 280ZX, 1980 Kawi 1000cc. My 4R is approachin 240k and doing great. Your Caddy looks FUN and comfy. And you still have a Toyota off road capable in the barn!
