Vacuum hose kit time!

Been noticing normal age-related cracking and hardening. I remember seeing threads about options when I joined a couple years back. The T4R Search function isn't working for me for some reason (I'd rather resurrect a relevant thread than create a new one, but I'm getting zero results - site glitch?).
This seems a bit pricey but claims to be OEM: Vacuum Hose- Toyota V6 3.4L 5VZFE 4Runner & Tacoma Vacuum Hose Kit (1996-2001) Kit-1106
I seem to remember a kit that had small spools in the correct diameters that you cut yourself.......anyone got ideas or links to share? not really into the colorful silicone options but open to all ideas. TIA

Edit - found some T4R threads searching regular Google but would like recent advice if anyone has any.

I bought a shop kit which is good for two vehicles. They also sell a smaller kit.

Silicone Boost Vacuum Hose

edit: Didn't realize you don't want to go silicone. Mine are black.

I broke out the hoses in the kit you linked, it adds up to $112, plus maybe $30-50 for shipping from Japan. Still way better than $274. You will need a few sections of the generic 90999-92002 hose, but not a big deal at $2.50 per section.

You're a legend for breaking this all down.
Makes you laugh when you see yotashop making $130+ profit on this when someone can take the time to source it for themselves for a much lower cost.

Not to get greedy (well, that's a lie ), but is there a more comprehensive/longer list of part numbers you used? I linked that Yota site as an example I had come across at first glance, not that I only wanted those hoses........

I figure if I'm going to order hoses from Japan, I might as well go all in! Are the lower group of 4 hoses the additional ones you ordered?

Thank you, Leon

Blair

Good thinking Blair - buy them all at once to save on shipping! I decided to replace all the air/vacuum and fuel/vapor hoses - they are all getting very old, and seeing more and more of them discontinued prodded me into action. Buy once cry once, right?

Here is the list for my '97 3.4L auto, other years/models may be different. As you can see, some are discontinued; others had to be sourced from dealers other than Amayama. I think there are a couple of fuel vapor hoses near the tank that are not on my list (77279-35050), but I think everything else is on here.

I should add that I have not yet received some hoses, so I won't vouch for these all being correct. My plan is to make a post on this topic after I install the hoses and verify correct part numbers.

Ignore the color coding, that was for my records keeping. The red words at the bottom of each picture refer to the Toyota parts page, so you can find it more easily in catalogs. I'm also attaching a pdf file with the part numbers so you can copy and paste them easily.

Wow - thank you a second time!!! This will be very helpful to many current and future forum members. Hopefully, they will have already benefited from your awesome hood struts, which makes access to all under-hood activities so much better! I only promote them here because you are such an understated gentleman when it comes to things like that.

I used the same silicone kit as Spartacus listed about 3 years ago. Comes withe all the hose sizes you need and more for about 55.00. If vacuum hoses are all you need I highly recommend it.
