Body Lift Visibility

I'm shopping for front and rear offroad bumpers.
On 33's currently but I might want 35's in the future, so I would like to get the body lift now, because the bumpers are built to compensate for the body lift.

Does a 2" body lift give you those gaps between the body/frame big enough to see daylight through the other side of the body?

Are there any other odd-looking visual indications of a body lift (such as the tailpipe's spacing from the body)?

Is there any reason i might consider ordering the bumpers for no body lift and deal with it in the future when i actually want 35's? (this option seems to paint me into a corner)

Here's my truck with a 1" body lift - you can see daylight between frame and body:

Do you have any photos of it at ride height with tires on? I'm assuming it's much less noticeable, but I've been wrong before lol

No worse than any Full size pickups from this era. You can make some gap guards pretty easy if it bothers you much.

Depends on the view angle - you can definitely see the gap at some angles, at least with my 2" suspension lift:

Here's a kit you can buy, if you want, to cover the gaps: Daystar Body Gap Guard

This is what a 1" body lift looks like in terms of the gap. I have LC80 springs in the rear as well. All things considered, it doesn't look horrible, but I imagine a 2" will probably look... different...

The rear bumper is attached to the body, so more of a gap between bumper and hitch. Front bumper is attached to frame, so there is a gap that the kit must account for to 'look' right. And as others said there is space above wheel wells depending on suspension lift too.

The thing is even with a 2” BL I’d bet you’ll still rub with 35’s. Maybe not quite as much as without a body lift though. But yea I think you’ll still have to chop the firewall if you want full up travel lock to lock. I would say the majority of people who run body lifts go with 1”, myself included.

Yeah I'm definitely planning on tubbing if I go 35s.

I think the question now is will 2" body lift mean I have to do significantly less cutting? Because if its the same amount of work I'll just go 1"
