Roof Rack basket

I searched a few posts, and found some info. It seems these are inexpensive roof rack baskets that look good. Not so much looking for utility, just looks!

I have the factory rack, with the crossbars. Also has a sunroof.

Do I need other stuff for these to work?

As long as everything comes with mounting hardware you should be good to go with what you get straight out of the box.

I have a 10-year old Rola that has held up great. I did make a few mods to improve the overall set-up, but I don't think you'd need to go that far.
The only caveat is the OEM bars are a bit on the flexy side and you may see that transfer to the rack a bit when things get bumpy.

Getting the Rola

I bought the Rola on Amazon for $165. It seems using the factory rails will not look great, so I will be doing what this guy did. Seems easy and rather inexpensive.

thanks everyone for the feedback.

I've got a basic Rola rack that a good friend gave me a couple of years ago.

Check out my build thread. I had a Rola rack and liked it a lot. Basically full length with the extension

Final Pics

I ended up getting the Rola, and also doing the brackets that Pho Runner did. Take a look at the link below (Some Pics)

it was really easy, and cheap! and it's solid. I tried putting on the OEM rails, abut was not stable at all. this gives it a good look, is solid, and also not mounted super high.

My buddy up here in Ft Worth is selling a Basket with Mounts off his 3rd gen 4runner. Hit me up in DMs and I can double check with him.

But those should work.
