Glad you got it off. If it wasn't so expensive to ship I snag it off you. As those are mostly gone around here.

Wow, people pay real money for those? I have one of each version in good shape that I'll never use. Going to grab them from my country shack and see if i can get a few bucks. I bought one of them for $10 (the bolted, flippable version), so I can't charge quite that much, though.

Yes. I have a set of those nut straps and can make many more.

Yes lots of things the non rust belt areas take for granted are worth money here.

The issue is shipping. I bought a rust free hitch from @phattyduck and we both were surprised at the cost. :/

Exactly. They are basically worthless here in California - but gold in the rust belt. I think it was about $100 to ship it, plus some nominal cost. I wasn't going to use it, so getting it to somebody who would is nice.

I want to drop my hitch and repaint it this summer. I had two extra stainless gizmos to weld nuts too and can only find one of them. Guess I make another at work

Yes, lot of times the interiors are good here along with the drive train. 95% of the 3rd gens in the yards here are rotted out. the other 5% were crashed.

I wish it was a lot more economical to ship as i could shove some engines and transmissions into the used parts market or even to the rebuilders as cores. As I can get those parts really cheaply. Along with the rear and front axles.

Granted, another 5 years here or so, the 3rd gens will be really scarce as they all be gone. [The window here is 10 to 30 years old ] then being most of the older vehicles are gone due to the rust and rot . The yards will scrap them and they be gone. Or if scrap metal goes high a pile will get recycled too..

I've sold 4Runner tow hitches here in CA, and it was for a decent price...

I could use a dash pad that isn't peeling back from sun damage - but same issue with shipping (actually, probably worse since it is more fragile).

Does anyone know what a good price it would be cause I have it up for sale right now Ive been having a lot of lowballers on offer and onthe Facebook marketplace. Craigslist is just scammers but I have it at $100 was wondering if that's too high.
