Yes, lot of times the interiors are good here along with the drive train. 95% of the 3rd gens in the yards here are rotted out. the other 5% were crashed.
I wish it was a lot more economical to ship as i could shove some engines and transmissions into the used parts market or even to the rebuilders as cores. As I can get those parts really cheaply. Along with the rear and front axles.
Granted, another 5 years here or so, the 3rd gens will be really scarce as they all be gone. [The window here is 10 to 30 years old ] then being most of the older vehicles are gone due to the rust and rot . The yards will scrap them and they be gone. Or if scrap metal goes high a pile will get recycled too..
