My local sheriffs department was able to file a courtesy report on my behalf. I also provided them with very detailed info and a link to this thread.
I had accepted the fact that the money was gone after contacting my credit union and explaining the situation, following up, being denied, contacting them again due to other circumstances, etc. Last week, out of the blue, I received a full refund for the stolen money.
