Covercraft seat cover install help..
So I got my Tan Covercraft seat covers in yesterday. Headrest covers, easy. Backrest, same same. The seat base pan.. that is beyond a pain, there are no straps or clips and stretching that so it is even is fuggin impossible or it seems so.
Any tips or tricks ?

Which fabric over which fabric? Did you remove the seats from the vehicle?
I installed the NeoSpupremes over leather and they slid on pretty easy. Did they come with the spatula-like tool?
That may help shove the cover into the crevasses a bit easier. There should be hooks etc. to latch onto whatever
is closest (I hung on the seat springs I believe), are you saying there aren't any at all?

Yes that may help LOL. Original seats are all leather. Rears are very good, fronts not so much. Tan covers are almost a heavy canvas and after many hours of fighting, it is better. There are no straps which the directions elude to.. as in IF INCLUDED... It was a real ***** getting them on and in looking at the photo on the box, pretty much the same. I am guessing it will take time to wear or break it but damn it man NO JOY.

Are these the same folks who sell the Carhartt branded version? If they are, they have 2 versions Pretty Good fit and Exact Fit (a lot more $$) If that's what yours are, which version are they?
Update - I got off my ass and fired up the Googler. I guess it's not Covercraft and they are called Precision Fit...scroll down at this link
Edit again- the link is to a Covercraft product.

I think it's the Pretty Good fit.. Box reads Covercraft Custom Fit. It is a 97 with low mileage one owner but when the 6th gen is released, I am selling it. Rides like a dream but I'd like the 202 "what ever it will be" LOL......... best riding 24 year old truck I have ever been in.

Huh, super funny. I JUST ordered a dash cover and floor mats from them last night and debated snagging some seat covers while I was at it but held off. Good to know!

With the heat here and being on there a couple of days, the fit is better. It will never be super tight but I am not planning to keep this more than a couple of years before buying a new 4Runner and a 911 Carerra which my wife has and yes I am jealous LOL. But all said and done, love the 4Runner. Here's my brids 2 Porsche's 2022 Carerra and 2022 Cayanne, kinda boring and me, I am driving a 99 4Runner, go figure LOL. I don't care, love my old girl.

So just an update for those of you thinking of these. They were a BIOTCH to install. However, after a few days in the Florida sunshine and driving they fit great, highly recommend.

Seat base pan, elastic ? REALLY LOL... it is more like a SUPER TIGHT canvas which is NEEDED TRULY but it is a real *****. Every day it get's better and I would buy them again but know it is VERY diffucult to stretch the base pan on day one. I cursed a million fuggin sailors easily. Headrest is easy, backrest is pretty easy, it is just the base pan that is a B I O T C H.

What about putting it on wet? If I got these things I'd go for the exact fit version, Sounds like a real knuckle-bustin hoot.

Interesting. I installed the Carhartt branded (non-precision fit) seat covers a year ago and don't remember it being that bad.

They have been great. No signs of wear, no slipping, and machine washable (though I haven't had to wash them yet). I wanted to get some in black for my van but they don't make that seat style.
