Need a gas cap 99
I somehow lost the gas cap on my 99 SR5. If anyone has one they're willing to part with, shoot me a message or response.
Many thanks

You can find them online, like Amazon, eBay, any Toyota parts website for cheap. Like $30 or under. I replaced mine a little over a year ago and that's about what I paid for an OEM replacement.

Yeah, just get a new OEM one. It'll fit and seal for another 20+ years...
(I've had bad luck with aftermarket ones not fitting well)

I highly recommend a Motorad gas cap. That was one of the first things I swapped out when I bought my minty 2 owner truck.

I got an $18 one recently from Advance after I dropped mine twice at the pump and it split in half. This one has the tether so no more dropping Gone a few hundred with no code so far so I think it's just fine. Fits pretty snug.

I bought PN 77300-53010, since it came with a plastic tether so I wouldn't drop or lose the cap . My '97 already had a hole for the other end of the tether, so I'm guessing they all do.

How much do you gain by having the tether? There's already the hanging slot on the door for the cap...
I get annoyed when a car doesn't have the cap holder but generally dislike the tether itself.

Try pumping gas when your blood sugar is low and you drop the cap twice and break it like I did.....

I'm an aerospace engineer, I like redundancy . I've managed to knock the cap off the holder in the gas door more than once .
