Worse nightmare ? Red in oil

So today I changed oil and filter but when draining looked like had a red tint.
Not like a milkshake. I have a trans cooler so not sure how could have mixed. I’ve used AMS oil since day one and always changed myself with the exception of last time when I was headed to camp went to valvoline and used their full synthetic. I saved the filter full of oil and will pour in glass container to see for sure if I’m imagining things after I calm down. Any ideas ??? Truck runs fine btw 225k mi.

oil can absorb a crap load of coolant before u'd notice, I highly doubt the"red tint" ur seeing is coolant and is probably just ur oil and the contamination it picks up passing through ur system. If ur coolant was getting into ur oil the first thing u'd notice is that ur oil level increasing between oil changes instead of decreasing as ur engine consumes and loses some, r u seeing frothing on ur valve cover oil fill point? With that said there r any #v of ways it can get into ur oil, head gasket issues and cracked head r the main reasons.

The above makes a good point. Plus different kinds of oil can have different appearances, like Royal Purple for example. I used the Kirkland full synthetic oil once, and drained it after 1,000 miles. It too had a slight reddish tint to it.

Just to put a photo reference here, this is the Kirkland oil after 1K miles that I was referring to.
